When my doctor told me I’d need to cut way back on my running and put on body fat to have a baby, it still took me months to make big changes.
It took a failed IUI and starting down the IVF road to shock me into a major mindset shift.
During that time, I researched and consumed a ton of information on Hypothalamic Amenorrhea and recovery. I gathered so many strategies and hacks along the way, enough that I am 100% confident I will never go back to undereating and overexercising again.
Luckily, you don’t have to drag your feet and prolong your recovery like I did! I consolidated all that I learned from my journey, and women I talked with along the way, into a 3 phase method.
General health guidelines don’t paint the full picture of fertility health. If you feel your doctor isn’t giving you the details you need, you’re not alone. We’ll get into the statistics and numbers around recommended exercise, weight, and body fat it takes to maintain a healthy cycle and boost your fertility. Then, we’ll compare that with where you are now and begin to map out a plan to get you there.
Don’t make this journey harder than it has to be! It’s time to take a deep dive into your network and give it a makeover. The first part of this phase is a social detox, followed by rebuilding with what – and who – will support you where you are right now. While doing this, you’ll define the truth behind your fears, and develop a plan of action for creating a tribe that will empower you to stay the course.
It’s easy to get excited about making changes in the beginning, but what about when you’re two months down the road and doubt creeps in? That is exactly why this program has a Phase 3! Mindset is a huge piece of the puzzle and here we will cement what we started nudging along. Recovery isn’t completely over when you get your first cycle. We’ll look at the bigger picture of life after HA, how to maintain a healthy cycle, and get pregnant.

I started working with Samantha because I had been trying to conceive for years and had gone through 2 failed IVF cycles. I am a runner and personal trainer and I knew I had to cut back on running and start taking it easier on my body. I thought I had done that but it was such a mental hurdle to get myself to cut back ENOUGH.
I turned to Samantha because I saw that she was a runner and could relate. I struggled finding someone who could relate to this because for a year I had been given advice to “just stop running!” – its not that easy! Samantha understood my struggle and that a mental shift like that doesn’t happen over night.
She was able to provide me with the tools I needed to create the mental shift and focus on things other than being active. I was able to mentally be ok with less activity and no running. After 3 failed IVF cycles I got pregnant on my 4th transfer after working with Samantha.
