Running outside energizes me, fills me with motivation for my day and typically ends with multiple ideas for my business, blog or something to do with friends that weekend. The treadmill leaves me fixated on how much time I have left. I’ve met one person in my decade plus of running who actually enjoyed the treadmill, but for the rest of us, we need something to mix up the monotony of running in place.
